Herbal Cure For Diabetics
There are a lot of herbs which may be beneficial for the diabetic patient. Most of them are also being used as Ayurvedic preparations to treat diabetes. Most of them do not have any side effect and can be taken without any difficulty and also they do not lower the sugar. Unlike allopathy medicines, they do not lead to hypoglycemia (undue reduction of blood sugar). Some of the useful herbs, Ayurvedic medicines good for diabetes are listed below:
2. Bitter gourd (karela)
3. Bay leaves (tej patta)
4. Cinnamon powder
5. Cloves (laung)
6. Curry leaves
7. Mango leaves
9. Methi seeds
10. Jamun seeds
11. Turmeric (Haldi)
# Slice the bitter gourd and scrape away the flesh to remove the seeds. Add the sliced vegetable to a blender and run till it becomes juice. Drink one small glass of this juice on empty stomach every morning. One can also increase its use as a cooked vegetable.
# Soak 2 tbsp of fenugreek seeds in water overnight and drink that water along with the seeds in the morning in an empty stomach daily to bring down your glucose level. And consume fenugreek seed powder with hot or cold water or milk daily.
#Wash and sun-dry tender mango leaves and grind to a powder. Consume this powder with water in the morning and night daily. Or boil some fresh mango leaves in a glass of water and leave it to cool overnight. Drink the water in the morning on empty stomach.
# Discard the seeds and grind 2-3 amlas into a fine paste and squeeze out its juice. Mix this juice (approximately 2 tbsp.) in a cup of water and drink it every morning n empty stomach. Or mix a cup of bitter gourd juice and 1 tbsp. of amla juice and drink it daily. And also consume raw amla every day.
# Chew 3-4 cloves in a whole day.
# Use Jamun seeds powder by mixing 1teaspoon in 1 glass of lukewarm water and drink it in an empty stomach.
