Can I take Dhokla?
Dhokla is a Gujarati dish. It is made of besan and curds. It is a fermented product, which is good for digestion. After steaming ,it is cut into small pieces then it is sauted with mustard seeds and chillies. In case of heart patient dhokla can be eaten if curds is made up of skimmed milk and seasoning should not be done with oil.
Can I eat Naan?
Naan is a flat teardrop shaped yeast leavened bread, baked on the hot side of the tandoori oven. It is made-up of maida, which is refined wheat flour and low in fibre content. Being low in fibre content it is to be taken moderately by heart patients.
